Creators with Influence Podcast is produced by American Influencer Council (AIC). The AIC is a membership trade association devoted exclusively to advocating for the educational and professional advancement of U.S.-based social media career creators. As a trade association, the AIC educates, inspires, and equips America’s current and future career creators for entrepreneurial success.
The AIC is a 501(c)(6) not-for-profit corporation in New York State, EIN 84-4935490.
“It is mission-critical for the AIC to support professional development and to produce programming that helps destigmatize the business of influencing. Creators with Influence celebrates a new generation of digital-first creatorpreneurs who are purpose-driven, inclusive, and multifaceted—removing the stigma of influencing starts by taking back the narrative,” says Qianna Smith Bruneteau, AIC Founder and series creator. “Influencers, career creators, and those who identify as hybrids deserve to feel esteem for their craft and trade. We’re excited to join the global podcasting community, for our guests to share knowledge, and for listeners to collect actionable business insights.
For the AIC, making a positive impact on society starts with investing in education and providing professional career development for tomorrow’s digital advertisers. The AIC champions digital marketing education at the university level and supports creative multimedia vocations.
Many digital creators are by-products of a trial and error, experiment-driven, test-and-learn culture. Without guidance from brands nor social media platforms, today’s established influencers and career creators had to learn the ins and outs of a startup industry through hands-on experience. The AIC harnesses the combined expertise of our Members to share knowledge with the next wave of solo entrepreneurs.
We advocate that education is a powerful agent of societal change. From career creators to influencer marketing directors, to talent agents, to social media platform executives, to Chief Content Officers, and to influencer marketing professors, we champion that influence comes in many forms. The influencer marketing industry offers varied professions that can be pursued successfully after college.
Like a networking medium, a trade association provides a community forum where members can gather to share knowledge, crowdsource ideas, and drive change around shared interests that impact professionals working in the influencer marketing industry.
Yes. The AIC strives to unite U.S.-based influencers and career creators across all fields and creative disciplines.
